A thistle

Bucking the trend of bees on thistles (given that they have not yet arrived) here we have two flies and a moth!  I did think the moth might be a burnet moth but am not sure it has the right number of spots!

Played our last golf match today against Wheatley which unfortunately we lost although our team has won three of the six matches which is pretty good given that we are small fry in the league compared with some of the West Riding clubs. 

So off on hols first thing Sunday morning, tomorrow is the dreaded packing up and sorting out day!
