Today was good.

We took the bus to a huge shopping mall near the waterfront and there we met a lady called Marinde who has been staying at the children's home for 2 months. We had lunch with her, wandered round the mall and walked along by the river. It was soooooo hot though!!
The mall was really really well air conditioned which was lovely. :D

We got home about 4pm, Marinde came with us back to the house.

At about 5pm we went a long to the YWAM house which is really close to the house I'm staying in and met the team there. There were five of them and they were some of the loveliest people I've ever met! We went for dinner with them and although we'd only just met them we got on really well. It was quite sad when we had to say goodbye! So we took some photos together (as seen above!)
Marinde is sat on the end of the bench on the right hand side and I'm sat next to her, the others are all the YWAM team.
It was such a blessing to meet them, even if only for a short time.

Marinde came back to the house with us after dinner and stayed for a while before going back to her hotel. It was sad to say goodbye to her as well, definitely felt like I've known her longer than a day!!

Tomorrow is the bus journey to the children's home!! I don't know if I'll be able to blip anytime soon so this may be my last one for a while.
