Half an hour in the US
The boat tour from Waterton crosses the Canadian/US border and stops at the Waterton Glacier International Peace Park Pre 9/11, anyone could go and hike in Montana. Now it's US and Canadian citizens only. We didn't get beyond the border post, but it was spectacular.
