Pretty house on the edge of Portinscale

Today we headed up to Keswick and walked round Derwent Water.  It's a really lovely walk (10 miles) with beautiful scenery all around. We've walked round here before  but decided to do it in reverse today ending up in Portinscale. . There's a great cafe called the Chalet where we were more than happy to stop! Today's "nicie" ended up being like sugar medicine as we were both quite weary by the time we got there - not helped by the fact that MP had been up since 6.30am.

I ended up in my bed asleep by 9.30pm tonight - I know how to party on holiday!
