Out with the old . . .

Over the many years we have been married we have had so little in the way of new furniture. (We started life with stuff given by family and bought at the Salesrooms in Bradford - towards the end when all the antique and good bits were gone, most people had left and only what was really junk remained!). The novelty of actually having new furniture has never worn off. 

An exciting day then today, as a huge sofa and two posh chairs were delivered, and they took away the furniture we have had for so many years that we actually can't remember when we got it. We knew the sofas and chairs were old and saggy, but it wasn't until I saw them outside that I realised just how bad they had got.
