Eastbourne Minature Steam Railway

We had a wonderful breakfast in our hotel in Eastbourne this morning.  It's a shame we're only staying one night!

My cousins were taking (nearly) 2 year old Evie to playgroup this morning, so hubbie and I took Ethan to a local   minature steam railway to while away the hours.  We spent a pleasant couple of hours there, then popped into Pevensey Castle (where Ethan wanted to know if it was a baddie castle because it was English)!

Had a lovely afternoon with my cousins and Aunt, dinner in a local pub and then we sadly had to leave Eastbourne.  Hopefully we'll go back again sometime as looks like a great place to explore with children.  We're staying in a Holiday Inn tonight (very impressed they gave Ethan bedtime milk and cookies, plus a copy of The Beano and a pirate activity pack), ready for our next adventures tomorrow!
