Parental Preparations

We are readying ourselves for a parental invasion on Thursday, and so the guest bedroom has been cleaned of dog hair (he likes sleeping on the carpet (not the bed) in there) the bed has been made, the laundry has been collected for ironing (not for me to do before Thursday, rather for mom to do when she's here - she loves a bit of ironing, honest) Ritter chocolate has been stockpiled and the (almost empty) sherry bottle located (btw, if you are planning to partake of a sherry tipple you might want to pick up a bottle in duty free, there is literally a splash in the bottom) and last but by no means least, Earl Grey tea has been purchased...I think that's all I had to do...
