Brodick

Woke up to more Scottish sunshine and a beautiful clear day. After a bit of humming and hawing, we decided to move from The Douglas Hotel into a traditional bed and breakfast for the next two nights. Apart from saving some money, it appeals to us more, but we're glad that we got into The Douglas for last night with our unplanned arrival!

We walked round the bay to the Home Farm, Arran Aromatics and had a look in Creelers restaurant as a possibility for dinner one night. Lovely walk back into Brodick along the shore, criss-crossing the golf course and picking up some pebbles from the beach for our patio in Barcelona. Blip was taken near the Old Boathouse on the way back into Brodick.

Dinner at The Brodick. We didn't have fish and chips! Our lovely waiter was Hungarian, so it was fun surprising him by digging up what of our language still remains and being able to have basic conversations with him.
