Oakanagan Lake

Today we left Jasper early in the morning and drove 7 hours to Oakanagan Lake in Kelowna.

Our accommodation here is unbelievable. We have the downstairs part of someone's house. We have a huge deck overlooking the lake, complete with a big bbq, patio furniture and our own table tennis table. Inside we have tons of space and a four poster bed! Mr M really struck gold finding this place.

The weather here is much hotter than in the mountains. The owners have their own orchard and picked us some peaches when we arrived.

We had a swim in the lake and then a bbq on the deck, watching the sun go down behind the mountain. Bliss!
