Two bridges

Looking east under the first bridge at East Hermiston, along the length of the Russell aquaduct that carries the Union canal over the city bypass.

The appearance of quiet stillness belies the roar of the traffic rising up and pouring along the canal and under the bridge to assault one's ears.
