Summer Evening Lines

I delayed going out for a walk today as the sun was so hot when it was out - always more trouble than it is worth with Finlay stopping frequently!

We finally went out about 5 pm - it had clouded over slightly and was a bit cooler. We headed off through the woods and once out the other side the sun was out again but there was a nice breeze to keep us cool.

The photo is a three shot panorama stitched in Photoshop and then tweaked in Lightroom. I liked the lines in the crops and the hedge and the big dollop of cloud over the little copse.

I have added an extra shot of a horse with a very impressive mane. Just as I was shooting, it heard another horse behind the hedge and it turned away - it never looked back again - the other horse was obviously more interesting than having a photo taken!
