Room with a view!

What a posh tent we are staying in tonight! Glamping to the max!!

We're staying at Port Lympne Wildlife Reserve in Kent. It's N's 40th birthday pressie from three years ago which was postponed due to my spinal surgery and prolonged recovery. We decided that we should do it now as I am probably recovered enough and before life gets in the way again.

So far it's been brilliant: welcome drinks, nearly two hours of safari and check-in to our posh tent. Later, the group are all getting together for a four course South African inspired meal before retiring to bed listening to the sounds of the "Serengeti" just outside!

In my photo you can see a lovely giraffe by our tents with Kent's Romney Marsh in the distance. There are also a couple of zebra in the background.
