Spot the Tourist...

To be fair, I think everyone in this photo is a tourist.

Anyhow, the sun has got his hat on and so has D!  :))  We visited La Tranche sur Mer, a seaside town we've visited many times.   As usual it was hot and very busy so the first thing we did was find a sheltered cafe and have coffee and a crepe (caramel, vanilla ice cream and chantilly.)

Afterwards we headed to a little shop that has separated us from many euros in the past and today proved no different.  Having decided the hen sculptures we'd seen in the art gallery in Vouvant really were ridiculously expensive (and no guarantee of getting them home in one piece) we ended up buying two fat hen ornaments that are cheep and cheerful but they made me laugh so it's all good.  We also bought some lovely handmade soap and some little trinkets for the Gin Palace.

My shopping urge was satiated.
