Up-Close Luciousness

My poppy volunteers are very nearly through their blooming
season, so I was out with the rising sun, trying to capture
their secret beauty....Notice that one poppy center is in sunlight
and the other is not.  I have found the color red to be difficult
to paint in tonal variations.  I was interested in all the red
color variations captured.....Please notice that.
