lemon or peach

This supposedly 'classic' ute of its age has been cluttering up the driveway for a fortnight now and FINALLY has a much needed appointment with the ute doc.

With storms promised for tonight, it was towed away to be under cover for the tlc which begins tomorrow. Thankfully I was here when the lovely, and patient, Tane arrived to load it up. He couldn't even get into he cab, far less fit behind the wheel...as you can see he is a big boy... so reluctantly I did and got it, just, to the road. With some horrid ailment that sees the fuel needle drop alarmingly when said ute starts up I hope the equally lovely and patient S will work his magic.

I feared this may have been a lemon when it first rocked up in the drive a few months ago ('an absolute steal' apparently though am not sure who did the stealing!) and am looking forward to see it transformed into a peach.
