Magpie-Lark
He has many common names, including peewit, peewee, mudlark (in Victoria), and Murray magpie. This one was sat in the park high up in the palm trees opposite where live, calling loudly, a lovely sound in the early morning.
It was known as yilimbirraa among the Yindjibarndi people of the central and western Pilbara.
