High art ...

Visited the new Whitney Museum today and was impressed by the modern and sleek design of the building. The collection is of modern and contemporary American art, with a sprinkling of explicit and eccentric art to keep everyone guessing. Great outdoor spaces for views over Chelsea and the city skyline.

Also walked the High Line, which was bordering on dangerous with everyone wielding their selfie sticks with abandon on such a narrow path. Good to see that all the American art is not contained indoors.
