Another day, another exam.

2/3 exams completed, some signs of exam weariness amongst some of the pupils.

Is it too much to expect pupils to bring one pencil to an exam requiring a pencil?!

I found out the batteries on the little compact were flat. Trying the time honoured technique of getting them out, rolling them in my hands and putting them back in seemed to conjure up sufficient energy for one shot (I did spend some time googling power use in digital cameras but I'll spare you..).

Anyway one shot taken, exam completed.

Pupils have moved one step closer to something on their pathway to somewhere. They are as much as gone. Some of them I have seen every school day for the past 5 years and now may never see them again. It's a funny thing. Their relationship with us is changing as they realise that the rules we have all followed no longer apply.
