Sunset over the beach

No dark overnight and awoke to sunshine.
As we headed north to walk round the Butt of Lewis it clouded over and foolishly I decided to walk without sunscreen - and paid for it as it wasn't long before the sun re-appeared!
Great walk over the machair, along Eoropie beach, above the cliffs and round to Port of Ness before returning to the start along the road. Flowers, birds, walking in t-shirt - what more could you wish?
Then a quick visit to see a blackhouse (closed as Sunday) and a nature reserve (the birds weren't co-operative) before back to camp.
There we had a rainbow and another sunset with this wonderful light.
