Lallukka Memorial

The Commercial Councellor Juho Lallukka was a prosperious businessman in Wyborg. "When you purchase for one mark and sell it for two marks, that profit of one percent is enough for me".  He was a famous patron of arts. Finally Juho and Maria donated their fortune to a foundation which maintains a block of flats dedicated to artist residence in Helsinki.

While Wyborg ended up in Russia after WW II, the monument was moved to Lappeenranta.
