The hand of Zeus

In greek mythology Zeus was associated with thunder and lightning.

When I saw this massive barrage of lightning in one location, I couldn't help but imagine myself as an ancient Grecian fearing that I had done something to upset the god Zeus and this was a sign of his anger.

I would hated to have been in this spot last night.  It looks like there was nowhere to hide.

But I think it does make for a beautiful shot.
