Before the feast

Every spring the local campsite offers a "goat menu". For about thirty euros you get to eat more than you could possibly imagine. the surroundings might not be as smart as the Auberge de Banne where we ate earlier this week but it can't be beaten for value. The courses go on and on - including roast goat, blanquette de goat and goat's innards stew - and it is always hard to get up and leave at the end.
