Charity cake

Today I entered my first cake competition for a charity ... raising money through a bake sale for one of Martin's colleagues who will be doing a 250km race in Ecuador very soon. The Peninsula wanted to raise money and awareness and had a bake sale and so I made this cake for the sale.


Apparently it outshone (is that even a word??) everything else, so embarrassing. I didn't mean to do that. I just based the cake of the children's cancer charity theme and came up with this. It was a huge hit and sold for HK$1000. I was pleased it raised that much. Many accolades were received and I am humbled.
