Ouch

Came home this morning after a week of night shifts to two surprises. The first was that wasps had built a nest in my front door step and I was stung whilst running the gauntlet into the house and the second was that my beloved cardoon has flowered for the first time after being transplanted 4 years ago when I moved house. Nature isn't so bad after all!
