Deer Crossing

I set out for my walk today and was about a third of the way through my route when a big deer jumped into the road in front of me.  I stopped in my tracks and tried not to move too much while I reached for my phone in my back pocket.  The deer moved slowly across the street while glancing back at me occasionally.  Just as I went to snap a photo, two more babies walked onto the road to follow their mommy.
Since I had my phone ready to snap a photo I decided to take the photo of the two babies.  They looked as if their legs were too long for their small bodies. 
The mother waited until they reach the other side of the road before moving on. 
It had to be 90% humidity today.  I was so hot and sweaty after my walk I had to strip the minute I got in the door and throw my clothes in the washing machine.  The air conditioning felt so good. 
I'm hoping for some good strong thunder storms tonight to clear the air.
