Rome (Day 2)

Another day full of culture in this wonderful city.

We took the open top sightseeing bus for the day round most of the sights in blazing sunshine (it was still 33C @ 7pm tonight!)

The highlight of the day was walking round the Colosseum - finished in AD80 with 80 arched entrances allowing the 55,000 spectators in.

Also visited St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican and the Trevi Fountain near to the Spanish Steps.
