Bait Taken

We bought this cute little bird feeder this weekend! People are so clever ~ this is such a great idea for a bird feeder. The cup is glued to the saucer and there is a small piece of pipe on the bottom. That pipe fits into a taller pipe that is pushed into the ground.

I wanted to have the feeder closer to the ground so I have the pieces pulled apart in this photo. I had to wait quite a while for something to come around, but finally this beautiful cardinal showed up for the peanuts.

Update on yesterday's blip: The wren's nest was empty this morning. Looks like they have all flown the coop!
