Cat meets Dog

We weren't expecting anyone when the doorbell went tonight, so it was a nice surprise to see Carol from down the street with wee Una, another young guide-dog-to-be. She's a 12 week old fluffball of a German Shepherd, with disproportionate ears and paws, and sooooooo cute.

Isla seemed more cautiously curious than hostile, meowing at us rather than hissing at the pup, and getting reasonably close a couple of times, before retiring further away to stare at the interloper. She seemed more accommodating than she is of Fred though.
