Tuesday: Helen Reddy

It was a bit of an emotional morning today when the district nurses presented K. with leaflets on what to expect in the short-term. And on what to do when the time comes.

Many people are really prepared to knock the National Health Service. I have nothing but the greatest respect for the care that Julia has received over the last few years, but, in particular, the care that she is receiving at the moment. We are so impressed, and so grateful and feel we have the support of the most amazing professionals.

K. was 9 months old when her parents moved into the house where her mum still lives and I have always found it a bit touching to open the wardrobe door and find K.'s Helen Reddy posters on the inside of the door.
