Planes, trains and automobiles (sort of)

Apart from being a very picturesque and friendly town, Rudesheim also has on offer something called the Ring Tour.
Now apparently being a person who is unable to pass up a cable car, chair lift, or any other type of leisurely up hill contraption, I could not miss the chance to be fairly whizzed up past the vineyards in this buckety affair.
It was then a walk through forest, a chair lift down to the neighbouring town of Assmanshausen and finally a boat trip back to Rudesheim - and all for less than the price of a couple of coffees and cake - it was excellent.
