Fotheringay - Banks Of The Nile (recorded February-April 1970)
Included on Nothing More - The Collected Fotheringay  box set that arrived in the post this afternoon. This traditional tune closed their first, self-titled album, an album I bought on vinyl when it was released. I also bought the beautiful single from it, The Sea.  Fotheringay was the band formed by Sandy Denny and Trevor Lucas, her partner, after she left Fairport Convention.
