Reflecting

Regular followers of my photos will know that I run a beginners photography workshop called Switch to Manual and I always like to try and help people to find different views as they are also learning how to expose an image. It was turning into a beautiful day as we got to Holyrood and so we used the reflections in the pools outside to capture the entrance to the palace in an usual way. 

I spotted this young man reflecting on his day into the pools and shot his reflection in the water knowing that when I got home I would flip the image the right way round and have a painterly feel to the end shot through the motion of the water.
