The Jurassic Coast

One of the "days out" that both our boys (but especially our youngest) were looking forward to doing during this wee jaunt south, was a visit to the Jurassic Coast.

So today we decided to head to the coastal town of Charmouth and start looking for "treasure!!".

The weather in the morning was great and the sun shone (which was better than we have had so far!!) and this was the view which greeted us as we made our way onto the beach.

Relics of the past were discovered in the rocks much to the delight of everyone - however true to form this week....the weather took a turn for the worst this afternoon with rain and fog being the order of the day!!

Still a great time was had by all!!

Now where has that Wall to Wall sunshine gone??
