Doris

Doris is a Bible Translator and a Bona Fide Language Expert. She has spent many years translating the Bible into a Native Mexican Language. Doris is retired but still working. Her field of study is a Language called Otomi. It is a Pre-Columbian spoken language, one of six dialects of a subgroup of native Mexican languages.

Wycliffe Bible Translators provide translations of the Bible for unreached peoples. They have completed over 700 scripture translations, worldwide.

Doris started learning Otomi when she was 21 years old by living in a native village and "starting out "as a kid again", learning the language as a child learns.

She is a most interesting lady that we met on today's bike ride.
