Here is an example of how the Swiss Railways are still fundamental to freight movement.

This is new factory - still being completed - in Avenches in the Vaud Canton, Switzerland.

The train is in a new siding constructed alongside the factory - presumably to move all those tiny capsules of coffee to eager customers around the World. The Roman site of Aventicum now is pervaded by a pleasant aroma of coffee!
