Sawyer Glacier Calfing

We explored the Tracey Arm Fiord  and were so lucky to have a Captain that was able to steer our huge cruise boat all the way to the Sawyer Glacier and even see it calfing!  It was a thrill of a lifetime and one of the best sight of the entire cruise!  We had a very renowned naturalist about who provided a running commentary for us....more than spectacular was this part of the trip!  The day was overcast so the glacier blues were so much more saturated and beautiful!  Extra picture is of a piece that was floating by us!  Backblips of Alaskan trip begin here
