LifeGuard Training

This morning was a bit of a shock to the system - MrRoly left at stupid o'clock leaving me to get up and get the kids ready for school on my own for the first time since before Mum came down at the start of June!

I went on a school trip to the beach with Red's class - I snapped this while they were having an impromptu talk/demo from the lifeguards. Given that it was overcast and 'damp' all day, it was really good! The kids enjoyed themselves and behaved beautifully which made it a pleasant experience for us, although they were a tad moany on the walk back to school.

This evening was a meeting about the Iceland school trip that Bella is going on - I'm now plotting how I can be invited along as a parent helper on that one... ;-)
