My Blue Day

It was very grey and wet this morning so I couldn't go on my planned bike ride or do any gardening. The great pile of ironing loomed down at me but the iron didn't work. I found another iron but that fused and as I noticed a hole in the flex I decided to go and buy another one. 
While in Filey I took Mollie on the beach but I think I was wetter than she was after her swim as it rained hard. 
This evening the rain has stopped and the delphiniums are still standing some of them 3 metres high. Their beauty is the best bit of the day.
