Better Days

Out after work to have a chinwag with old Denis. Actually, he's not that old; late seventies, probably. Though I'm not sure his dinghy is going to be pulled up his drive anytime soon. And what good blethers we did have; wide ranging, life and politics. Talking of life, he has three funerals on this week. Though he did give a five star review to the one back at the Steiner today - it was a bring a dish to share. Much better than a recent one he attended at the Braid Hills - the sandwiches were like spam! A lesson to us all - get a decent purvey written into the will or your penny pinching heirs will trash your reputation. *shudder*
