A Mono Monday In The Rain

One of my favourite songs is 'September In The Rain'  However  here we are in July and where are Autumn Leaves? Certainly have the rain but that's nothing new at all .
I took it easy and had lot's of sleep , then gentle pottering and necessary phone calls .At around 6:30pm I got myself ready and took a very short walk to the Knott Mill Cafe. Burgers there really fix bones. Had a lamb burger with Blue Stilton and very crispy bacon topping .. It was lovely . No wine since  my head still feels whoozy .Soda water and Blackcurrant with ice proved refreshing . The rain began once I was in and at times it poured .Looking at the shiny cobbles and raindrops in the puddle made me take this. It has to do.for a Mono Monday offering.Only rain which I find welcome and like my drink , refreshing , the blip doesn't really qualify for the special challenge .
