Wildflowers gone nuts

The Botanics has again planted a big swathe of wildflowers next to the glasshouses. They're supposed to be full of poppies as a memorial to WW1 but I think we'll have to wait a bit for them to bloom in this grey weather. Spectacular cornflowers and various daisy-type things in the meantime.

A lovely afternoon here, before we let our visitor off the leash so that we could get home and get the dinner on. Have forgotten all the rest of the lovely things we did.
