Les Trois Croix

Once the campsite gate was unlocked at 7am, I escaped for a wee jaunt up the nearby peak of Rocher de Roquebrune. An incredible granite (I think), monstrosity of rock overlooking the A8 autoroute. I followed some yellow tick marks to the summit ridge and then some airy via ferrata cable work to the summit. These three crosses and a hazy view of the coast was the reward.
