The Queens Diamond Jubilee River Floatilla

We went up to London today for the River Pageant for the Queens Diamond Jubilee.

We had a room in Tower Bridge, which was really cool, with a balcony which over-looked the river. The only technicality was that in order to get onto the balcony you had to climb out of the window, which wasn't the easiest thing to do. It was brilliant fun and we watched a lot of the pageant from the bridge- as it was restricted access so we could see clearly- until the heavens opened and we all got soaked!

What a brilliant day and a brilliant turn out.
