Mono Monday : Autumn

Another tricky one, what can you do except look for some fallen leaves, and it's too early for them in England.
Here's a couple of pages from Autumn Story, one of the Brambly Hedge series of books that were published in the 1980s. These stories of little mice, written and illustrated by Jill Barklem, are a step back in time to English country living many years ago. The illustration shows a dresser full of autumn produce, which is only a few weeks away now.
Soon be time to make a ham-fisted hash of the church Harvest Loaf again !
