Marbled White Butterfly

Had a very lazy morning by the pool ( Bliss ).
Very hot here in the low 90's.
After lunch we decieded to go to the highest point on Lefkas.
As the crow flies its about six miles from where we're actually staying, but in reality its more like twenty five by the time you go round and round the moutains.
As we got nearer we went through a village called Eglouvi and was quite suprised to see a sign with the wording "Drive at your own risk" (extra photo) it looks like some one has been shooting the sign with an air rifle so not sure if the sign ment you are at risk of being shot or crashing of the very narrow road
When reached the top the view was spectacular.
It was here we found loads of Marbled White Butterflies dancing around Scabious Thistles.
Certainly far from the usual tourist routes around the island, but worth the journey if you ever visit Lefkas.
This is my first attempt at using the manual controls with my new camera, there's such  a lot to remember, but hopefully with time and patience ( and my helpful hubby ) i will get there.
