Balnakiel

A fairly lazy day today. We had a long lie then some breakfast. Crag and Dav headed off to do some fly fishing then Evanna arrived. Roz and Vanna headed out for a walk while I walked as far as cocoa mountain for a coffee before heading back to the cottage to settle in for the tennis.

This is the view down the track from where we’re staying out the back of Balnakiel Craft Village, overlooking the edge of Loch Croispool.
 

In the evening we went for a wander down to Balnakiel bay and out to the second beack. It was overcast and windy, but fairly mild and dry. Ive seen the beach on far nicer days but it was good to get a decent walk in the fresh air after a fairly lazy day.
