A tough day!!

Spent the best part of the day digging a trench for a new Mains Water Pipe. We severed the Lead pipe last October, 2 days into the kitchen extension and had to make an urgent temporary repair. The new plastic pipe has been fitted to the existing supply with a valve in place and then coiled up at the end of the house. Today i dug the trench to the boundary. Tomorrow i hope to complete the task and then get United Utilities to OK it so i can fill it up again. Even missed the first 70 mins of the footy. DB took me out to the pub for tea though so a nice end to a hard day.
Just realised i paid. Bugger!!
