Sculpture Courtyard

Yesterday I finally got a chance to visit the Sculpture Workshop in Leith http://www.edinburghsculpture.org/ as they had some activities on for the public during the day. They have a new addition, visible in this photo, which is an enclosed courtyard where sculptors can work outdoors but still under a roof when raining.
They will soon be opening a cafe and I can see this place, with its lovely almost Mediterranean atmosphere, becoming a real magnet in the area. You can reach the Workshop directly off the main Leith cycle path or get off the bus at Chancelot Mills and take Hawthornevale south for a few minutes.
