Brooklyn Bridge ...

Was expecting to post a spectacular photo of 'Manhattenhenge' tonight, the twice a year occurence where the setting sun aligns with the NYC street grid. I made my way to the traffic bridge above 42nd St, outside Grand Central. Surprisingly I was not alone. The crowds quickly grew and blocked the overpass. The stranded taxis were all honking furiously, but the photographers were not going to budge. Great to experience it, but unable to get a decent shot.

Luckily I had walked across the Brooklyn Bridge this morning to meet a friend for brunch, so had a Plan-B blip.
