The memory of taste

Had a lovely visit with a lovely friend. She made me a cup of fennel tea which brought back memories of my daughter as a baby. As a typical Germany-raised baby, her bottle frequently contained fennel tea. Good for baby tummies. I wonder if she would recognize the taste.
